He was a San Clemente native and an associate with the Washington lobbying group Barbour Griffith and Rogers, where he specialized in foreign campaign consulting. The USC graduate also acted as a liaison between Republicans and the entertainment industry.
And he died from a cocaine/oxycontin speedball!!!!
Now, I know that I am not really plugged in to mainstream American scandal news, but if this story happened on or about March 24, how come this is the first I've heard of it. Must be the "liberal media" hiding the bad behaviour in Hollywood... right? I mean everyone knows they all stick together out there... But wait, wouldn't the "liberal media" WANT to report the sleazy death of just this sort of enemy? Now, I'm confused... which is it... liberal Hollywood Sodom and Gomorrah protectors or pussy-whipped lapdogs of corporate sleazemongering right wing cabal??

Neither. It's just he wasn't important enough to knock our national fascination/argument/conversation about Terri Schiavo off the front pages.
could it be that it's just another case of who would care anyway? if the guy was plugged into the entertainment business people would just assume that he was a doper and the fact that it happened at someone who's in the entertainment world just makes it not newsworthy.
if it happened, say, at cheny's house or in the capital it would be everywhere. better yet at delay's office or doorstep.
now that would be in the news.
